Software Development Engineer

This is an exciting role for a dynamic engineer working as part of a team in development of solutions for new and existing product lines.

Develop UI and image processing software in line with company’s processes and procedures
Support existing products by adding new features or resolving design issues identified by Manufacturing and Customer Support
Create design documentation as required including specifications, procedures, manuals, technical reports, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering
Proficient in C, C++, C#, COM, WPF in a Windows environment
Proficient in Visual Studio 2005 including Microsoft Team Foundation
Proficient in GUI development and Windows SDK
Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must be familiar with the software development process, source control and be able to plan projects
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and operating systems
Good team player with the ability to communicate to various backgrounds and levels
English

Knowledge of databases technologies (SQL / MySQL)
Knowledge of Image processing and software packages like Euresys, Coreco, Halcon software
Ability to travel both within Germany and overseas
